Thirty Years
in the Making

This restaurant was never just a business idea. It was a promise. For over thirty years, our mother filled every kitchen she touched with the aromas of the Caribbean — jerk smoke curling through screen doors, sorrel simmering on Sundays, rice and peas pressed tight in foil for neighbors who hadn't eaten. She cooked the way her grandmother taught her: with patience, with pride, and with an unshakeable belief that a good meal can hold a family together.

Her daughter grew up at that stove. She left for culinary school carrying her mother's recipes and a notebook full of dreams. What she came back with was a vision: to take that same warmth — the kind that makes strangers feel like relatives — and build a place where the whole community could pull up a chair. BB's Tropical Lounge & Grill is that place.

We are intentionally, unapologetically woman-owned and community-first. We source from local vendors. We hire locally. We celebrate our neighbors with spotlight partnerships, live music, and events designed around joy rather than profit margins. Every dish on this menu carries a piece of heritage and a piece of heart.

When you walk through our doors, you're not a customer. You're a guest in our home. Yes is the answer — what is your question?
